After an angry customer broke into the arcade and caused extensive property damage, the beloved New Orleans arcade was left to pick up its pieces.

Nola.com reports on a customer known as “The Wolf” (red flag numero uno), who had just joined the Sea Cave Arcade and Bar. He’s been described as rude and uncomfortable in his brief time at the Sea Cave Arcade and Bar.

The Wolf began using a supermarket price gun to apply stickers to an arcade cabinet on the evening of December 14. Judah Lea approached the arcade owner and asked him to leave. The Wolf replied by asking if “interested in dying.”

Lea returned The Wolf’s membership fees and kicked him out. He decided to stay in the parking lot, flashing a knife and talking about his assault rifle. The Wolf returned 30 minutes later and allegedly locked customers and employees in the car using a bike lock to secure the front doors. The Wolf then started smashing windows and terrorizing those who were inside.

Everyone was able to escape through the back door. The Wolf was gone by the time police arrived. The Wolf returned the following day in the early hours with an ax and destroyed almost every surface. He destroyed many antique arcade machines, TVs, and other expensive equipment during his rampage.

The attacker then returned later in the day to threaten all those who had offered to help clean up the aftermath of his previous attack.

Matt Ray, an arcade member, said that he “ran behind me with a gun and started shouting, ‘Tell them to shut down. I’m cartel'”.

New Orleans Police Department’s Public Affairs Office has confirmed that the suspect in Sea Cave damage has been arrested and charged with superficial criminal damage to property, aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

According to the arcade owners, this jackass caused damage above $50,000. To help rebuild and recover, I urge you to visit their GoFundMe Page.
