Google has granted the approval for Android 11. The update is available and will be distributed to all smartphones, including those from OnePlus, Xiaomi or, starting now. Some features are reserved for Google Pixel smartphones, as before.
Google has now made the feature update available to all smartphones, not just its Pixel devices. However, users will need to wait for Android 11 to become available on their smartphones – if they are eligible. This information can be obtained from your smartphone’s manufacturer.
Security features: Bubbles, screen recorder, and enhanced security features
The final version includes many new functions such as the “bubbles” which display selected chats in a multitasking mode as a small round “bubble window” over other apps. A screen recorder, enhanced and extended device control, as well as improved security features like one-time access rights, are all new. This allows the user to have more control over which apps he allows and when. A new combination quick access allows users to both messenger apps and their messages.
Bug fixes: Changes
Google also considered smart functions for Android 11. Smart functions were also included in Android 11. This is a major security change: Android 11 users receive additional update modules from Google Play that provide more data protection and security fixes, as well as app updates.
Users will be notified of all changes and bug fixes as soon as possible. They won’t have to wait for an Android update. Instead, they can access the settings directly. Android 11 is being rolled out to select Pixel, OnePlus and Xiaomi smartphones. In the coming months, other Google partners will release new devices on the market and offer them with Android 11.
