SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY
Super Mario Odyssey is a platform game where Mario controls Mario. He travels through many worlds on his ship Odyssey (the hat-shaped ship), to save Princess Peach from Bowser who wants to force her to marry him.
The Kingdoms of the game are based on the exploration-based level design that Super Mario 64 used. Mario must search for and clear various objectives within each Kingdom in order to acquire Power Moons (power sources that allow Mario to access new Kingdoms) and other items.
Mario can instantly warp to checkpoint flags scattered throughout each Kingdom once they are activated. Some levels have “flat” zones that allow Mario to be placed in a 2D sidescrolling environment, similar to the one he was in Super Mario Bros.
