Legion Timewalking Mage Tower Extended for Two More Weeks and Now Available over the Holidays
Legion Timewalking is now live for one week. This includes Legion dungeons using Mythic+ and the Return of the Mage Tower. There have been many adjustments made throughout the week, with some significant changes occurring late Friday.
Players well received the week’s challenges. However, some felt that the Mage Tower was too challenging for the two weeks it was in use. In the future, it will only be active for one week.
Blizzard has corrected some of the issues they identified as slightly out of order. They also confirmed that players would complete the challenges for an additional two weeks. The reset will take place on December 4th.
This applies only to the Mage Tower. Legion Timewalking Dungeons will be closed on the previous date, December 21st.

The Mage Tower will be running alongside the weekly events over the next three weeks. However, there are no weekly rewards for completing Mage Tower Challenges, so there will be no overlap.
Over the past week, many changes were made, including nerfs for the bosses and changes to mechanics. Also, scaling was introduced on old gear and gems / Enchants.
It is still a desire of many players to have it permanently up, especially considering the difficulty. However, that is unlikely, and players will have two more weeks to make do.
