Asus will send its performance flagship ZenBook Pro Duo in the race over the next few week. The name refers to the ScreenPad Plus which has been around for a while. A second OLED screen with 4K UHD resolution (15 inches) is placed above the keyboard. The screen will automatically raise to a angle of 9.5 degrees when the notebook is opened. This is a new feature. This should increase readability while also supporting cooling the components.
ScreenPad software has been improved and OLED quality is solid
The new ScreenXpert 2 software allows for the display of customized functions and workflows under Windows 10. This can be controlled using the ScreenPad Plus. Asus lists shortcuts for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro, as well as After Effects. The second display can be used with an input pen to create a graphics tablet. The 15-inch main display is still the focal point. It has a screen-to body ratio of 93 per cent, VESA DisplayHDR500 certification, extended DCI–P3 colour space, and color accuracy validated as Pantone.
