Samsung’s Galaxy A smartphone line is its best-selling product, as it has stated more than once. The Galaxy M line of smartphones is also very popular.
The Korean giant plans to sell 1 billion smartphones in India this year. Already, the first half of this year saw a 20% rise in revenue. The company has not yet revealed the percentage of revenue growth they expect for the entire year.
Samsung claims that it has sold 42,000,000 Galaxy M smartphones in India alone since 2019.
Counterpoint also notes that in India last year, Samsung claimed 26.9% of smartphone sales in the Rs 10,000-Rs 40,000 market. The figure was 21.4% a year ago, which is a significant increase in sales. Many Galaxy M models are represented in this segment.
