About Dune 2000
Dune 2000 is an interactive strategy game that Intelligent Games developed. Westwood Studios released it for Microsoft Windows in 1998. Dune 2000 is a real-time strategy game where the player controls one of three Houses. They must battle for control over the spice melange on Arrakis or Dune. The player harvests spice to earn “solaris”, an in-game currency. They then use the Solaris to create units to support their forces. The game is similar to Command and Conquer: Red Alert, except that the player can manage more than one unit, unlike Dune II.
