What’s Dota-2 all about?
Dota-2 was created in 2009 by IceFrog, the main designer for Dota. Valve appointed him to create an advanced version of the game. It was released for OS X, Linux and Microsoft Windows via the digital share of Steam in July 2013. This is a continuation to an open beta phase that is only supported by Windows.
The game is free to play without the existence of heroes or any other games that have been supporting it as a service. Gameplay
Dota 2 is a MOBA video game in which players must create two teams. Each team will consist of five players who have to defeat an ancient structure built by the opposing team. The players must control the game using basic strategic controls. This map is displayed in 3D isometric perception. Each group controls the heroes and there are 10 players. Each hero has different strengths, weaknesses, and designs. There are two main roles for heroes: core and support.
Cores, also known as carries are vulnerable and weak at the beginning of every match. However, they can become stronger in the latter part of the match, making them able to win. It supports all deficient need capacities that deal with heavy destruction, rather than having more functional ones that offer greater supply and are more useful for cores like healing buffs.
Players choose a hero during the drafting phase. This is where they can discuss the possibilities and match up with other players. After being selected, heroes are removed from the draft pool and are not available to other players. They cannot be changed after the drafting phase.
Apart from basic fighting techniques, every hero can have a major attack. Each hero can have at least four of these abilities. All of them are unique. Each game begins with heroes having a high level of experience, which allows them to access only one ability. Players can upgrade their skills and gain strength up to 30 levels. Each hero can gain experience that unlocks new abilities and enhances the ones they already have.
A magic system is available in the game to prevent the misuse of abilities. An ability cost can be activated when a hero is slowly regenerating. You can get into the cool-down period if you use an ability. The ability can’t be used again until the timer is reset. All heroes share three main attributes: strength, agility, and intelligence.
