Battlefield 4 is a first person shooter videogame developed by EA DICE, and published by Electronic Arts.
Two compact rectangles make up the game’s heads-up display. In the lower left corner, you will find a mini-map with compass and navigation information. A simplified objective notice is above it. The lower right contains a small ammo counter as well as a health meter. The top right shows kill notifications for all players in-game. The chat window is available in multiplayer on the Windows version. Along with the main game screen, the mini-map shows symbols that denote three types of entities. Blue for allies, green to squadmates and orange for enemies. This applies to all interactivity on a battlefield. The Battlefield 4 options allow colour-blind gamers to alter the on-screen color indicators to: tritanomaly; deuteranomaly; and protanomaly.
Customization of weapons is encouraged and encouraged. Weapon attachments and camouflage skins can be used to customize primary, secondary, and melee weapons. Many weapons have different firing modes, so you can set the default setting to suit your needs. Semi-automatic and automatic fire allow the player to adjust to their environment. In the single-player campaign, players can “spot” targets by marking their positions to the team. This is a first for the Battlefield franchise. The game’s bullet-dropping-system has been significantly enhanced, forcing the player to change the way they play medium to long distance combat. Players now have greater combat abilities, including the ability to counter melee attacks while standing or crouching, shoot with their sidearm while swimming and dive underwater to avoid enemy detection. The standard combat abilities still apply, including reloading while sprinting, unlimited sprint and vaulting.
