Portal 2 lets you play the role of Chell, one of two robot atlas or P Body. This campaign is either simple or collaborative and uses community-developed puzzles. There are four characters that will interact with the open world. The main objective of the game is to discover the Aperture Science Laboratory. However, most of the modular test chambers in the game have clearly marked entry and exit points. Other parts of the game are hidden behind the scenes. Portal 2 offers a guided tour that will take you through the general movement control as well as show you how to interact with your environment.
Portal 2 has many puzzles the player must solve using either the portal gun or an aperture science handheld portal device that will create a portal connecting two distant surfaces. These portals will be used by the characters to move around the house and fill in objects. These portals can be seen through walls and other obstacles.
The game’s main components include Thermal discouragement beams and excursproton funnels. They can all be transmitted via portals. After sustaining serious injuries, a character can only bear a certain amount of weight. The player will instantly die if he falls into toxic pools or bottomless pits. The game will resume from the previous checkpoint if the player dies. The robot will respawn shortly thereafter without you having to restart the puzzle.
